What makes you love UCLA Women's Basketball?
Everyone here actually wants to just be better people. Basketball is just a bonus to it all. What do you currently do in the community that you are proud of? At home I often worked and talked to girls that were getting into basketball or music. It was humbling being approached by parents who had kids in orchestra or sports that wanted me to just give words of wisdom. Do you love a particular animal, if so which one? Penguins and dolphins are my favorite. What is your most embarrassing basketball moment? I scored on the wrong basket once in middle school and cried the rest of the day. I still ask at the start of a half to clarify I'm going the right way. What is your nickname? How did you get it and who gave it to you? My family and closest friends call me "Lala" and it started in preschool when "Lauryn" was too much for the other kids. |
Name something trendy or a fad that you took part of that was a mistake?
Silly bands, I 100% am disappointed in the money I had my family spend on those pointless rubber bands. If you could be invisible for a day what would you do? I would just mess with different people all day. Move their things, trip them, just make them super confused. with anyone (past or present), what three people would you invite? Beyonce, Tiffany Haddish, and Chance the Rapper. Is there a significance to your jersey number? I wanted to have #3 like Candace Parker but had to add a 3 since my teammate already had it. |
