Watching the Lady Bruins take on the Michigan Wolverines brought back memories of the Bruin teams led by the legendary John Wooden. Cori Close has built a team that is disciplined, beautifully coached, and full of heart—qualities that defined Coach Wooden’s squads. I truly believe this year’s women’s team will be remembered as one of the finest in UCLA history.
