What are your professional aspirations?
My professional aspirations is to play in the WNBA or overseas. What do you currently do in the community that you are proud of? I help my club coach and her team by helping out at practice and attending their games. Do you have any fun or unusual hobbies or collections of anything? I love to collect shoes and singing is my hobby. Do you currently have a pet? Have you in the past, if so what kind? I had two dogs, half terrier and half chihuahua. One was named MJ and the other one named Halle. What makes you love UCLA Women’s Basketball? Being able to represent LA, my family and friends, considering this is my hometown. If you had to pitch one story about yourself to a newspaper that doesn’t involve basketball, what would the topic be about? It would involve me talking about music or it would involve me becoming an OBGYN. |
Are you obsessed with anything? (A brand, place, food, culture, topic, item, artist, etc.) Give examples of how you are obsessed.
I am not obsessed with anything but I enjoy buying lots of shoes. If you could be invisible for a day what would do? I would probably visit Beyoncé and Jay-Z to see what their everyday life is like. What is your nickname? How did you get it and who gave it to you? JC3, since my jersey number is 3. Recee, Mo, Laj, and Kelli started calling me that. Who are the role models in your life and why? My parents, because they give me everything that I need and they sacrifice a lot for me. Who or what inspired you to play basketball and why? Seeing all my cousins playing basketball at a young age inspired me to want to play basketball as well. What is your favorite moment or memory with your dad? When he took me to Krispy Kreme after I was scared of getting a flu shot. What is your favorite moment or memory with your mom? When we used to go to Souplantation. |
